Kansas State University and the Kansas Farm Analyst Program will offer Keeping the Family Farming Workshops for families who are working through the benefits and challenges of incorporating family members and others into a farm operation or passing the family farm business from one generation to the next.

To preserve Old Economy Village, supporters will have to summon the Harmonists' spirit of self-sufficiency.
Bruce Bazelon, western division chief of historic sites for the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, visited the village Tuesday evening and told a crowd of more than 50 people that Old Economy was too expensive for the state to maintain during its current financial crisis.
